8th Punk Rock Raduno
Punk Rock Raduno is a “dumb, little festival” that started in 2016, when Otis Tours and stripedmusic.com decided to bring together the best pop-punk bands from around the world for a summer festival in Italy. The first Raduno tag line read “three chords, no brain”. Punkrockers may have no brain (arguably!) but they do have a big heart: that’s why this family reunion, a “raduno” indeed, has been getting more and more special through the years and has become truly relevant for all the International labels, artists, sponsors and people involved.
It’s true, Punk Rock Raduno may have a special taste for that 1-2-3-4 Lookout style pop-punk, but it’s not the only thing we’re humbly proud of. Punk Rock Raduno is different from the other summer “punk” festivals. First, it is an all ages FREE festival with neither barriers in front of the stage nor tight security checks; second, embracing a worldwide community, apart from the obvious live shows Raduno offers many more different experiences, such as acoustic sets,
tattoo parties, sport events, art exhibitions, a raffle and so on.
You see why Punk Rock Raduno is literally a family reunion, and that’s why we stand strongly against racism, sexism, homophobia and violence. Everybody is welcome and we’re very happy to have partnered up with a bunch of local LGBTQ+ and disabled people associations during the past four years. Raduno is about getting together, taking care of each other and having a good time while listening to our favorite bands. We wanna keep it that way, so put on your best smile ’cause you’re in for a treat.
